Henk van Leeuwen
President and CEO
began with Easter Seals Nova Scotia in July 2013.

Henk has a broad range of experiences working to strengthen the communities we live in. This includes working and volunteering for not-for-profit organizations, and several years serving in a variety of production and leadership roles at Canadian Broadcasting Corporation centres such as Calgary, Charlottetown, Cape Breton, and Halifax.

Barry Saunders
Chairperson
– 8 years with ESNS, Retired

• Barry has retired from the broadcast industry which he was active in for 26 years.
• He started in 1979 with ATV as Sales person.
• Was the local Sales manager from 1986 to 1988.
• Moved to MITV in 1989 to be Nova Scotia Sales Managers.
• CanWest Global bought the station in 1994 and Barry became General Sales Manager
  from 1995 until 2002 when he was promoted to General Manager/General Sales Manager
  until he retired in 1999.

Robert (Bob) Steeves
Secretary – Treasurer, Past Chairperson

 Robert (Bob) Steeves – 11 Years with ESNS

Bob Steeves retired as Director Commercial Banking with CIBC after a 32 year career. 
He then launched a second career as an Easter Seals volunteer.
Over the past 12 years he has served on many committees and has been a
long time Board Member both Provincially and Nationally and has served as Chair for both. 
He lives in Glen Haven, NS with his wife and best friend, Judy.

Bonnie Caldarozzi, has sat on Easter Seals’ Board of Directors for the past 4 years and is the owner of Embrace Spa and Medic Delivery Services Ltd.
Bonnie is the past president and current member of both the Halifax Executive Association and the Rotary Club of Halifax Northwest.

Lisette Hachey

- Ms. Lisette F. Hachey is a chartered accountant who has been the Chief Financial Officer of Corridor Resources Inc since April 2006 and serves as the Corporation Secretary on the board of Directors.
Ms. Hachey joined Corridor after having served five years with Emera Inc, including terms as Manager of Accounting for Emera Energy as well as Assistant Controller and Controller of Nova Scotia Power Inc.
Ms. Hachey articled with Ernst & Young where she worked eight years focusing on audit related services for clients in various industries.

- Recently Joined with ESNS
Peter Morehouse - was Director of Investor Relations for the Greater Halifax Partnership, worked in career development with graduate students at Saint Mary’s University, and was a lead consultant for a company that advised companies and cities in how to attract and retain young professionals.
As Vice President, People forT4G Limited, his role is to ensure that all their locations have the right mix of the most innovative and talented technology and business professionals.
Peter has been heavily involved in the community, including a term on the board of Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia, and his role as founding Chair of FUSION Halifax.

Zeda Redden

Zeda Redden has been a Board Member of Easter Seals Nova Scotia since 2012
and is currently the Vice President Investor Relations and Associate Treasurer with Bell Aliant.
Prior to joining Bell Aliant, Zeda was Treasurer for Emera Inc. / Nova Scotia Power where
she previously held the roles of General Manager Finance and Corporate Controller.
Zeda is a Certified Management Accountant (Gold Medalist), with a Master of Business Administration
and Bachelor of Commerce degree (summa cum laude and Gold Medalist) from Saint Mary’s University.
