Easter Seals School Demonstrations
Each day children and youth with physical disabilities all over Canada are being sidelined at school activities, and are not partaking in recreational activities.
There are many contributing factors, but a significant obstacle is often simply a lack of awareness of adapted physical activities. Easter Seals Nova Scotia has taken on the challenge of creating an awareness program that educates not only potential participants on adapted recreation, sport and leisure, but also their peers and teachers. This innovative program will change attitudes and enhance the well-being of all participants.
